FIBSTV.com kicks off the weekend with the live stream of the Jolly Roger Bbc Grosseto and Lancers Baseball Club 1982 game on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 2 pm (EDT). Then FIBSTV.com presents a softball doubleheader between defending Italian Serie A1 Champion MKF Bollate and Rheavendors Caronno on Sunday, May 23 beginning at 8 am (EDT).
This weekend marks the start of 2021 Italian Serie A1 Softball, which is made up of 12 teams divided into two different pools. Pool A features MKF Bollate, Rheavendors Caronno, Inox Team Saronno, Lancomes New Bollate, Banco di Sargegna Nuoro,and Taurus Donati Gomme Parma. Pool B consists of Forlì, Pianoro Softball, Sestese, Bertazzoni Collecchio, Thunders & Dragons Castellana and Caserta.
Serie A1 action continues through late June before the Women's European Championship, the Tokyo Olympics, and the European Cups cease club play until the beginning of August. At the conclusion of the regular season in late September, the first-place finishers in each pool will automatically advance to the semifinals. The second and the third-place finishers of each pool will compete for the two last qualifying semifinal spots. The two top squads in the semifinals will move on to the Italian Softball Series, which is slated to kick off during the second week of October. Forza #Italia!
