UnipolSai continue to dominate. T&A, Rimini and Parma come out victorious

UnipolSai Bologna came up with yet another ‘W’ over Godo on Friday evening, Padova falls to T&A by the final of 11-7, Parma destroys Nettuno2, and Rimini just gets by Nettuno in Nettuno.

In Bolonga, UnipolSai was able to come up with yet another ‘W’ in this the first round of the 2014 IBL. Their win on Friday evening over the Godo Knights was their 14 victory on the season as they continue to prepare themselves for round two which will get underway at the end of June. Picking up the win for Bologna was Williamson, while on the offensive side of the ball, Grimaudo had a nice day with the sick going 2 for 4, as did Dobboletta (2 for 4), and Malengo (2 for 3 with 4 RBI’s. The series will continue this evening in Bologna at 8:30 pm.

    

In San Marino T&A was able to hold onto a big win over Tommasin Padova on Friday evening. Picking up the ‘W’ was Guerra, while suffering the loss for Padova was Medina. The final in this one was 11 to 7. This two game series will conclude this evening in Padova at 20:30.

    

Down in Nettuno, Rimini was able to get by Nettuno with a 3 run 4th. The final in this one was 3 to 1 as Nettuno now falls 3 games off the pace in Division B. Lorenzo suffered the loss for Nettuno while it was Ekstrom that picked yet another win as he continues to dominate the competition. Game two is set to get underway at 20:30 tonight down in Nettuno.

    

In Parma the duo of Josè Sanchez and Jesus Yepez combined to no-hit Nettuno2 on Friday evening. Parma walked away from this one with an easy victory by the final of ten to nothing. The win allows them to keep pace with Rimini for the top spot in Division B. This two game series will continue tonight with a start time of 20:30.
