The fourth week of the Italian Softball League will be split into two days, with one of the six series taking place today the 25th of April. The girls that will be lacing up their cleats today are out of Division A and the same that faced off less then a year ago in the Italian Softball League Finals, Rhibo La Loggia and Bollate. When the rest of the group hits the field on Saturday, look for at least one of the teams between Rheavendors Caronno and Banco di Sardegna Nuoro to come out with a better identity of themselves as a complete group and where the 2014 season will take them. Finally in the A Division Legnano will look to put one up in the winner’s column for the first time this season when they take on the Stars of Staranzano. Legnano is off to an 0 and 4 start, while Staranzano currently sits at 2 and 2.
In Division B the big match of the week will get going on Saturday afternoon between the visiting Bussolengo club and the home Labadini Collecchio. At the moment both teams sit at 1 and 2 in the standing, with Bussolengo still supporting a perfect 6 and 0 record, while Collecchio just a game behind after dropping a game to Parma just a week ago. In the foreigner game look for Maddie Holub for Collecchio to give Bussolengo hell on the mound as she puts her perfect record to the test. Next Fiorini Forlì will head down to Montegranaro in hopes of taking two from Dino Bigioni Unione Fermana, the very team that is still looking for their first win in this, the fourth week of play in 2014. Finally, Caserta will be welcoming in Old Taurus Parma for two in what looks to be a very evenly matched series.
