The Italian National Team to take on the Godo Knights
The Italian National Team will take on the Godo Knights in Godo next Tuesday, June the 3rd. The game has been organized to help the Knights celebrate their organizations 50th anniversary. The game time is set for 7:00 pm.
The players selected to participate in the game by the National Team’s manager, Marco Mazzieri are: Pitchers (7) Panerati, F.Crepaldi (Fortitudo BO); E. Crepaldi (Padova); Simone e G. D'Amico (San Marino); Escalona (Rimini); Giovanelli (Parma) Catchers (2) Reginato (San Marino); Sabbatani (Fortitudo BO) Infielders (7) Sambucci (Parma); Vaglio, Infante, Grimaudo, A. D'Amico (Fortitudo BO); Santora, Mazzanti (Rimini) Outfielders (5) Avagnina (San Marino); Desimoni, Poma (Parma); Tanesini (Godo); Chiarini (Rimini). In addition to the 21 selected athletes there will be 6 ballplayers that have received invites of which include: (6) Bertolini (pitcher; Piacenza-Serie A); Oberto (pitcher; Grosseto-Serie A); Nardi (pitcher-NBP Ronchi dei Legionari); Pizzolini (infielder-NBP Ronchi dei Legionari); Freddy Noguera (infielder; Bilbao, Liga de Honor-Spagna); Santolupo (outfielder; Grosseto-Serie A). The coaching staff along side manager Mazzieri will be Bill Holmberg, Giberto Gerali, Augusto Medina, Claudio Vecchi, along with the National Teams physical therapist, Massimo Baldi.
