For the first time in history, Italy hosts the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Women's Softball World Cup Finals. The Castions di Strada diamond Friuli Venezia-Giulia will be the XVII Women's Softball World Cup Final Round battleground from July 15-20, 2024. The eight qualified teams are divided into two groups of four. Group A includes host Team Italy, USA,Canada and China. Group B features Australia, Japan, the Netherlands and Puerto Rico.
Team Italy makes its debut against China after the Softball World Cup Finals opening ceremony on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 8.30 pm (local time). In the group matches, the Italians will always play the last game of the daily program at 8.30 pm (local time) on Tuesday, July 16th against USA and again on Wednesday, July 17th against Canada.
The two top teams from each group will advance to the Super Round, while the bottom two teams from each group will compete in Placement Round to determine the fifth to eighth-place positions on Thursday, July 18th and Friday, July 19th.
The Women's Softball World Cup Gold Medal Game between the top two finishers and the Battle for the Bronze between the third and fourth-place teams will take place on Saturday, July 20th. In the event that there are adverse weather conditions during the tournament, Sunday, July 21st has been reserved as a makeup day.

The ticket package entitles you to a numbered seat on the grandstand chosen by the purchaser for the entire duration of the event and can be purchased exclusively on the official Vivaticket platform.
Children born in or after 2018 will be guaranteed free entry without the right to a seat.
