Reggio Emilia captures of Serie A Italian Cup

ROME – Palfinger Reggio Emilia gained possession of the Serie A Italian Cup with a convincing 12-2 victory over Crocetta. 

Reggio Emilia was the last organization to be demoted from the Italian Baseball League.  The IBL now uses a franchise system consisting of 8 teams, in which there are no promotions or demotions and hence no vertical movement between Serie A and the IBL.
