Prague Hosting the Congress of the European Baseball and Softball Federation

The Hotel Grand Majestic Plaza in Prague (Czech Republic) is home to this year’s Congress of the Confederation of European Baseball (CEB) and the European Softball Federation (ESF). On Friday, February 14 CEB went through a series of presentations with all its delegates including presentations for Baseball for the Blind (by American Tom Nagel, CEO of the French Federation), a presentation of the anti -doping rules (by Peter Stroem, Sweden), a presentation of the new website (by the German Philipp Wuerfel), and finally a presentation of the financial situation (by the Treasurer René Laforce of Belgium). The event will conclude on Saturday the 15th.

Those representing Italy at this year’s Congress will be FIBS Vice Presidents, Massimo Fochi, and Totoni Sanna, as well as Monica Corvino. Also present at the event will be FIBS President Riccardo Fraccari, whom will also be their representing the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) and the World Baseball and Softball Confederation (WBSC).
