And yet a new season begins in the Italian Softball League! Look for 2014 to be an evenly matched championship all across the board in both divisions. Based on each organizations rosters and past results no club should run away with the league. Out to defend their 2013 League Championship will be La Loggia, while a team that is without a doubt hungry to get back on top as the top Italian Softball top team is Caserta. Taurus Parma is the newcomer this year, but they are from a city with a history for the game which makes them a group to never count out. Both divisions will be evenly matched, but unlike a year ago they wont be able to measure up with the other division in interleague play, so both Divisions A and B will have to wait for the playoffs in the late summer to see who will host the ISL Cup in 2014.
