Mike Ekstrom heads to Rimini where he will be looked upon to bluster Rimini’s mound for the 2014 IBL season. Ekstrom is a right-handed pitcher from the states with quite a resume behind him, having played in the Big Leagues with the Padres, Tampa Bay Rays and Colorado Rockies. In 2013 Ekstrom pitched in AAA with the Oakland A’s and Los Angeles Angels before finishing off the year playing for the Champs of the Asia Series, the Canberra Cavalry (Australia).
