Team Italy U23 manager Alberto D'Auria has summoned twenty players on the final roster and three reserves to Ronchi dei Legionari to prepare for the U23 European Baseball Championship in Wiener Neustadt and Schewechat, Austria from August 8-12, 2023.
The Italian skipper said, “We will make the most of these last few days to prepare ourselves in the best possible way and train prior to leaving for Austria. Unfortunately, we had to leave Simone Carnevale and Manuel Zazza off the roster, but I would like to thank both of them for what they have done for us up to this point. I am convinced that the 23 players we have now will give their all during the final training sessions and in the exhibition game against Ronchi on Wednesday.”
