2023 U12 European Baseball Championship bronze medal recipient Team Italy will attempt to strip the highest honor from two-time defending champion and host Germany in Paderborn at the U12 European Baseball Championship from July 2-6, 2024. The Azzurrini baseball squad will compete in Group B together with 2023 silver medal winner Kingdom of the Netherlands, Austria and Lithuania, while Group A features Germany, Czech Republic, Ukraine and France.
Having suffered its only loss in the 2023 U12 European Baseball Championship semifinal game against Kingdom of the Netherlands, young and talented Team Italy is determined to reclaim the throne after winning the Euro title three consecutive years (2017, 2019 and 2021). The Italians and Czechs have won the most amount of U12 European Baseball Championships (9), while the Kingdom the Netherlands and Germany have each won three times from 1992-2023.
