Team Italy women’s softball squad prepares for the Canada Cup
Prior to hosting the Softball World Cup Group Stage in Friuli Venezia-Giulia during late July, the Team Italy women’s softball squad travels to Surrey in British Columbia to participate in the Canada Cup from July 10-16, 2023
With the Softball World Cup Group Stage in Friuli Venezia-Giulia fast approaching from July 22-26, 2023, the Team Italy women’s softball squad gets a preview of the international competition at the Canada Cup in Surrey, British Columbia from July 10-17, 2023. During the tournament, Team Italy manager Federico Pizzolini will lead his squad in battle against the likes of Mexico and Japan. The Japanese are one of softball powerhouse nations that the Italians will face when hosting the Softball World Championship Group Stage in Italy.
The team will meet for a workout in Saronno on July 4, 2023 prior to departing for Vancouver. The following players are expected to participate in the Canada Cup:
