CON-X 2024 brings sport and culture together in a special presentation of Binario Vivo theater company’s "Batti e Corri" at CON-X 2024 in Rimini on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 7 pm. Under the direction of Riccardo Monopoli, Binario Vivo presents a comedy by Enrico Ghizolfi that due to a scheduling error finds a baseball team and a softball having to play a game on the same field at same time. The audience discover the hopes, dreams, tensions and certainties of the athletes within the locker room, where there is no shortage of discussions which in the end bring out the values of team spirit, brotherhood, sisterhood and integration.
Federzaione Italiana Baseball Softball (FIBS) federal councilor Aldo Peronaci said, “FIBS has embraced the project. We support it with great enthusiasm because in our sports there is a profound sense of parity and equality."
After its successful debut at the Teatro Nuovo in Pisa this
past December and its performance at CON-X 2024, "Batti e Corri" will
also be staged in other Italian baseball and softball cities in the near
furture.
