Hot Stove – IBL, Peppe Mazzanti heads to Rimini

Rimini deciding to pull out all the stops as they bring in one of the most well know Italian ballplayers, powering hitting Giuseppe (Peppe) Mazzanti. Mazzanti comes with a packed resume, which includes 92 games played with the National team, member of the 2009 Italian World Baseball Classic team, and two Italian Baseball League MVP awards (2007 and 2008). This will be Mazzanti’s first experience away from Nettuno in the IBL. Look for Mazzanti to get in games at both 3^rd and 1^st in 2014 for the Pirates.
