Godo takes game one, San Marino and Rimini put on hold

The Godo Knights took game one against Nettuno2 by the final of 3-2 on Sunday afternoon

The Godo Knights took game one against Nettuno2 by the final of 3-2 on Sunday afternoon. The Knights had their bats working in the 3rd, in fact only the third as they scored all three of their runs off of the losing pitcher, Gonzalez who went 5 innings giving up 7 hits, 3 runs and 5 walks. Picking up the win for Godo was Calero thanks to 6 solid innings of work, where he allowed only 1 run, on 2 hits, and 3 walks. Driving in the runs for Godo was the duo of Molina (3 for 5 with 1 run scored and 1 RBI) and Sanchez (1 for 2 with 1 RBI) while the third came off of a throwing error that plated Molina. Nettuno2 had their chances to tie the game up in the later innings on a couple of different occasions, however they came up just short more then once against Ribeiro who buckled down to pick up the save.
