Two Team Italy U13 softball squads compete for the European Massimo Romeo Youth Trophy

After a two-year absence due to pandemic, the U13 European Massimo Romeo Youth Trophy competition continues on the diamonds of Collecchio from August 10-13, 2022. Team Italy will field two softball squads comprised of 12 active players with four reserves on each team.

Team Italy U13 softball head coach Maria Grazia Barberis will be assisted by coaches Emilia Ammirato, Chiara Romei, Morena Bertoldi, Sabrina Gabelli, Flavia Ciliberto and Gianni Gabri as well as delegation manager Gianfranco Casano.

Team Italy will face GB Cubs, Israel Sabras and Joudrs Praga Orange in the Sport Division, while in the Future Division the second Team Italy squad will compete against Seleccion Navarra, Softball Club Princ and Joudrs Praga Navy.

The athletes will report in Collechio the day prior to the start of the international competition. The players listed below with an asterisk are participating in the Little League Softball EMEA tournament from July 6-10, 2022. Should the players qualify for Little League Softball World Series, they will not be able to participate in in the U13 European Massimo Romeo Youth Trophy competition.
