Team Italy roster revealed for U15 European Baseball Championship
Team Italy U15 manager Gianguido Poma has selected the first 18 players to play in the European Baseball Championship in Trnava, Slovakia from July 18-22, 2023
In preparation for the upcoming U15 European Baseball Championship, the Team Italy U15 baseball squad will meet in Ronchi dei Legionari for training and an exhibition game against the U18 New Black Panthers.
Team Italy U15 manager Gianguido Poma will be assisted by pitching coach Lucio Taschin, coaches Luca Costa, Daniele Santolupo, Giuseppe Mazzanti, physiotherapist Giuseppe Bellin, team physician Dr. Michele Carubia as well as delegation representatives Federico Bettazzi and Alessandro Cappuccini.

After a fourth-place finish in the 2021 U15 European Baseball Championship in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, the Azzurrini seek redemption in the 2023 Euros. Team Italy is in Group A and faces Germany on July 18 at 1.30 pm, Hungary on July 19 at 10 am and defending champion Czech Republic on July 20 at 1.30 pm.. With the absence of Spain, Group B only features Slovakia, Kingdom of the Netherlands and France. The top two teams in each group advance to the semifinals. The final will be played on July 22, 2023 at 5 pm, while the battle for the bronze takes place earlier at 1:30 pm. Forza #Italia!
