With only two months until the start of the 2024 Italian Baseball and Softball Convention, CON-X 2024 returns to the halls of the Palacongressi di Rimini from January 26-28, 2023.
CON-X is the definitive 'brand' that represents the permanent training project of Federazione Italiana Baseball Softball (FIBS). It is the annual Italian Baseball and Softball Convention general meeting that is dedicated to the growth and development of all the entities involved in the movement. In addition, the gathering provides the opportunity to meet prestigious international and national guests, who constitute the great attraction of the three-day program in Rimini.
The official CON-X 2024 program will soon be revealed in detail as well as the long list of guest speakers. Team Italy catcher Brett Sullivan, who hit .368 (7 for 19) during the 2023 World Baseball Classic and made his MLB debut this year for the San Diego Padres is the first of many who will appear at CON-X 2024. "Sully" will speak on the role of the catcher as well on the technical innovations of batting during the three-day convention.
Given the great interest expressed in the mental approach to the game, specifically for younger athletes and their families, CON-X 2024 will delve even deeper into the subject. Once again, daily useful topics will be presented for the growth in all areas–from the historical ones supported by the National Referees, Classifiers and Technical Committees, to those more recently included in the FIBS training project. Above all, the sports managers will be called to lead the clubs in the great changes of recent years, starting with the administrative revolution imposed by the new Sports Law, for which the commitment by FIBS in supporting the clubs for the best interpretation and application is maximized.
