On Saturday UnipolSai Bologna continued their first round dominance over the rest of the pack when they were able to walk away with two wins against Tommasin Padova. At the plate Bologna used 6 walks and 2 errors to their advantage, and were able to put up 6 runs on only 6 hits.

In the nightcap of the double header Bologna was once again to walk away with the fairly easy 5-0 victory. It took Bologna 6 innings to get on the board, as Ronald Uviedo was able to hang with Joey Williamson through the first five frames, however in the 6th a leadoff walk to Rodriguez and an eventual RBI single off the bat of Grimaudo put the game at 1-0. However in the end it wasn’t the long ball that decided the victor in this one, it was a 3 run bottom of the 7th off of Andreozzi that weight the most on the games outcome. The bottom of the frame got started with a leadoff walk to Bucchi, a single to center off the bat of Tanesini, an RBI double by Molina, an intentional walk to Sanchez, before being caped off by a 2 RBI single by Monari. T&A was within striking distance in the top of the 9th with a runner on second and two outs, however the game came to an end on a close play at first with a call that went in favor of the Knights.. 5 to 4 was the final with the win going to Ribeiro and the loss to Andreozzi.
