Undefeated Bologna heads down south to take on a hardnosed Nettuno club

The seventh week in the IBL starts in Nettuno in a matchup between the 1st place Unipol Bologna and 3rd place Nettuno. Game one is on Friday evening at 21:00 while game two will be played on Saturday afternoon at 15:30.

Tonight Nettuno will be taking the field without Renato Imperiali. The first baseman is out with a sprained ankle and will most likely be out for the series. Bagialemani will utilize Grimaudo at first, Fondin in left, and Harrison as the DH. Andrea Pizziconi and De Santis (De Santis recorded his 1,000 strikeout of his career last weekend) have been named the two starters for the home team over the weekend while Romero will be the first reliever out of the pen in a close game.

Unipol Bologna will be showing up in Nettuno at full strength for the first time in a couple of weeks, as theclub will be welcoming back Nosti and Bischeri to the lineup. Taking the ball for Bologna in this two game series on the road will be Rivero and D’Angelo as the club is still waiting for the arrival of , the left-handed foreigner that was picked up to replace Victor Moreno on the roster. Luque should be available for Bologna’s manager, Maro Nanni, next weekend when his club welcomes San Marino to town.
