With the Team Italy Juniors U18 baseball season fast approaching, Azzurri manager Francesco Aluffi has invited 47 players to a two-day camp beginning May 1, 2021 in Riccione. In preparation for the U18 European Baseball Championship in Macerata from July 5-11, 2021, the Italian skipper will have opportunity to train with his best prospects in Riccione before narrowing down the roster for the international competition. Not only will the two top teams from the Euros earn bragging rights, but more importantly qualification for the in Sarasota and Bradenton, Florida from September 10-19, 2021.
Team Italy U18 manager Francesco Aluffi will be assisted in Riccione by bench coach John Cortese, hitting coach Alessandro Cappuccini, pitching coach Luis Hernandez, infield coach Davide Sartini, athletic trainer Fabrizio Goracci and delegation manager Aldo Peronaci.
