Softball: The Italian Seniors take the Tournament of the Republic

The Italian Senior Softball team took the top spot at the Tournament of the Republic with a six to nothing win over the Italian Juniors club on Monday. The Italian Seniors clinched the tournament as they finished off the four-day event with a 4 and 1 record, ahead of the Juniors team (3-2), as well as the Caronno & Friends (4-1). The weekend was the first test of the year for the Italian National Softball team as they were able to begin their preparations for this summer’s World Softball Championship in Holland.
