Driven by a 16 hit and 15 run attack on Tuesday evening, San Marino was able to continue their turnaround in their march towards the second round of this year's Italian Baseball League. Rimini got off to an early one to nothing lead after just a half inning of play, however San Marino was able to put up two of their own in their half of inning number one, and never looked back after as they went onto put up 15 runs on 16 hits off of Rimini’s pitching. Picking up the win for T&A San Marino was Valerio Simone, while on the other side of the ball, Cherubini suffered the loss. In the 5 run 4th, Avagnina picked up his first homer of the year, a two run shot off of Patrone, just one of many standouts on the offensive side of the ball. Newly acquired Morreale also had a perfect 4 for 4 day at the plate, with 4 runs scored.
