Team Italy U15 baseball squad competes in Alpe Adria tourney from May 25-28, 2023
Team Italy U15 manager Gianguido Poma has selected 23 players to participate in the Alpe Adria baseball tournament in Staranzano from May 25-28. 2023
In preparation for the 2023 U15 European Baseball Championship, the Team Italy U15 baseball squad is taking part in the ninth edition of the Alpe Adria international competition in Staranzano from May 25-28, 2023. The Italians kick off Group A play with two games on Friday, May 26, 2023. The first contest against Technika Brno(Czech Republic) begins at 1:50 pm (local time) and is followed by an evening game at 6:20 pm (local time) against the Hungarian national team. Another Czech team, Fun & Play, as well as the Austrian national team and the U15 Friuli Venezia-Giulia All-Stars are also participating in the tourney. The scheduled seven-inning games will have a two-hour maximum time limit.
Team Italy U15 manager Gianguido Poma will be assisted by pitching coach Lucio Taschin, coaches Luca Costa, Giuseppe Mazzanti and Daniele Santolupo as well as delegation manager Federico Bettazzi.
