Another week of Interleague play in the ISL

Urbe Roma will play host to both Rhibo and Banco di Sardegna Nuoro this weekend

Urbe Roma will play host to both Rhibo and Banco di Sardegna Nuoro this weekend. The two visiting clubs will be coming in hopes of taking two games each from a Rome team that is still looking for their first victory of the season. Currently Rhibo stands at 8 and 5 and Nuoro at 3 and 5.

The big match up of the weekend comes on Sunday when the first place team in division A (Sanotint Bollate) meets up with the first place team in division B (Des Caserta). The double dip will be played on Sanotint’s home field. On Saturday both these team will also be active, as Bollate welcomes in Forli and Caserta will visit Legnano. When the weekend is all said and done it will be interesting to see what kind of movement happens in the standings. “It’s going to be an intense weekend,” says Bollate’s Manager, Luigi Soldi.  “It’s sure to be filled with some quality play and high emotions.”

The other top contender in the league thus far is the Blue Girls Bologna squad. The team is lead by Johana Gomez, who is 5 and 1 this season on the bump. Bologna will be facing off with Bussolengo and then Collecchio, and are determined to pick up some ground on Caserta if they can sweep both double headers while at the same time hope that Bollate will be able to tame Caserta on Sunday in the ‘Big Game’ of the week.
