European Softball Coaches Association and National Fastpitch Coaches Association bridge the gap across the Atlantic

The European Softball Coaches Association (ESCA) and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) have joined forces in a partnership agreement to share and increase the knowledge of European coaches. Having served as one of the keynote speakers at the recent CON6 Baseball and Softball Convention at Palacongressi di Rimini in Italy, NFCA Executive Director Carol Bruggeman was impressed with the enthusiastic reception from the 1,200 attendees. On the heels of her experience in Rimini, it comes as no surprise that the two softball organizations would build a strong foundation to build upon so that the quality of coaching and player development can improve in Europe.

The NFCA has agreed to provide lectures, thematic journals and podcasts as well as training plans, guided exercises for coaches, and NFCA website discounts for those who sign up for the premium membership package. Others who simply sign up for the free basic membership are offered the opportunity to join a network of camps and events organized by ESCA.
