Team Europe takes down Japan...

Yurendell DeCaster hit a three-run homer in the third inning Wednesday to lead Team Europe to a 6-2 win over Japan in the finale of a historic two-game exhibition series. The 'W' alled for the two game split in the series (1 Europe - 1 Japan).

The Europeans scored two runs in the second inning and DeCaster, a native of Curacao, connected off Japan starter Takahiro Matsuba to give Europe a 5-0 lead. Japan was able to picked up their only two runs of the ball game in the top half of the 6th with the first one coming on a homer off the bat of Yamato and the second coming on a 6-3 RBI ground out that scored Ginji from third. Team Europe added one more in the bottom of the 8th to put the score at its final of 6 to 2.
