Reggio Emilia alone atop Federal Serie ‘A’ South Conference

There was no change among the leaders in the North Conference of the Federal Serie A Baseball League, where going into Week 6 there were three teams in the lead. Juventus, Redipuglia and Rovigo all escaped their double-headers with two victories, thus maintaining a share of first-place.

The Redipuglia Rangers have pulled off four straight wins, and all coming on the road.

Rovigo took two from Bollate to keep pace with Redipuglia, while Juve 98' won some tightly contested games at home against Piaceza to keep the three-way tie for first-place in the North Conference.

The leaders of the North Conference are currently enjoying a three-game lead from fourth-place Padova.

It's quite another story in the South Conference, as Reggio Emilia has sole possession of first place, two games ahead of second-place Anzio.
Reggio Emilia took two from Crocetta and have won 6 straight since dropping their only game on the season back in Week 1.

Anzio that no mistake against Heila Poviglio, walking away with two relatively easy games.

Sala Baganza also issued a sweep at home against Messina. Both games had an identical score of 2-1.

Arezzo and Modena were the only teams in the South Conference to split their series.

Rome had the week off.
