Two no-hitters cap Week 4 in Serie ‘A’ Fed League

The North Conference is even more crowded up and down thestandings after the conclusion of Week 4 in the Series A Federal BaseballLeague.  Eight teams are separate by 1game or less, with Codogno and the Bologna Athletics not within strikingdistance of first place, as both teams got swept by their opponents. 

Juve, Redipuglia Collecchio and Rovigo are all currentlysharing first place, but Padova, Piacenza, Bollate and Ponte di Piave are allhot on the trail. 

Padova's Federico Tanco was the author of a no-hitperformace, as he struck out 11 en route to the 6-0 win against Rovigo.

In the South Conference, Crocetta is isolated at the top ofthe standings with a 6-2 record, after splitting a double-header with Rome. 

Palfinger and Messina swept their series to stay right inthe thick of things.  Messina picked up awin with registering a hit, beating Poviglio 2-1.

Anzio split a pair of games with Modena.

Arezzo got the week off and resume action in Week 5.
