DE REGNY, GIURLEO TRAVEL TO GERMANY TO GIVE COURSE ON BASEBALL FOR THE BLIND

Freising, GERMANY  -  This past weekend, Lorenzo De Regny and Fabio Giurleo departed Milan, Italy andtraveled to Freising, Germany (Bavaria) to help give an educational course onthe baseball field of the Freising Grizzlies. Grizzlies team president Franz Fischer intends to develop a local projectfor Baseball for the Blind (BXC - Baseball fur Blind).

For the trip, De Regny and Guileo packed a set beeping ballsand baseball equipment, which was organized by AIBXC, to supply the field with the necessary apparatuses for baseballgames oriented to visually challenged athletes.

In the coming weeks, a delegate from the Grizzlies will make the trip downto Milan to engage in a field study during the Milano Thunder's 5 and BolognaWhite Sox June 13 doubleheader.  It will be thelast scheduled doubleheader of the Italian Baseball for the Blind League.  The first place Thunder's 5 are currently 8-0 and the White Sox are 5-1.
