Rheavandors Caronno and Poderi Dal Nespoli Forlì remained in control of third place in their respective groups after sweeping a pair of games against softball foes Taurus Donati Gomme Parma and Bertazzoni Collecchio on August 7, 2021

Taurus Donati Gomme Parma encountered trouble early against Rheavandors Caronno when a slew of defensive errors in the bottom of the first inning amounted to four runs crossing the plate. Caronno added an additional run in the bottom of the second inning after Rebecca Caldon scored on an RBI single by Chiara Ambrosi. Down 5-0 in the top of the seventh inning, Parma made an attempt to come back but came up short scoring twice.

Rheavandors Caronno starting pitcher Yilian Tornes threw a two-hit shutout in the game two 2-0 win over Taurus Donati Gomme Parma. Beatrice Salvioni singled, stole second base and eventually scored on a throwing error by Parma catcher Yarianna Lopez. Caronno added an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth inning on an RBI double by Chiara Ambrosi.

Without the services of Team Italy captain Erika Piancastelli, who is currently under contract to participate in her second Athletes Unlimited season in the USA, Poderi Dal Nespoli Forlì was still able to defeat Bertazzoni Collecchio 4-3. Winning pitcher Ilaria Cacciamani allowed just two earned runs on three hits with four strikeouts and two walks in seven innings of work.

Poderi Dal Nespoli Forlì got on the board in the top of the first inning when Miriana Cerioni singled and advanced into scoring position on Ilaria Cacciamani's sacrifice bunt. She moved on to third base on a fielder's choIce by Carlotta Onofri and safely crossed the plate on a wild pitch from Collecchio's Alessia Melegari.
Forlì added three more runs in the top of the second inning to take a commanding 4-0 lead. After Beatrice Maroni singled and advanced to second base on Elda Ghilardi's sacrifice bunt, she later scored on an error by Collecchio catcher Elena Chiesa. Then a two-run single from slugger Beatrice Ricchi gave Forlì pitcher Ilaria Cacciamani some breathing room.

Bertazzoni Collecchio scored one run in the bottom of the fourth inning when Chiara Bassi led off with a single and eventually crossed the plate. Collecchio rallied for two more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Elena Chiesa singled and scored on an RBI triple by Madysen Grimm. Collecchio picked up another run on an infield error but lost in the end 4-3.

Game two between Poderi Dal Nespoli Forlì and Bertazzoni Collecchio belonged to Forlì pitcher Leonella Elizabeth, who threw a no-hitter with eight strikeouts and four walks in the 1-0 shutout over Collecchio. A leadoff walk in the top of the first inning issued by Collecchio pitcher Arianna Paulson to speedy Laura Vigna was the difference in the ballgame as a sacrifice bunt by Miriana Cerioni and RBI single from Ilaria Cacciamani allowed Laura Vigna to score.
