Team Italy ranked 14th in WBSC/KONAMI Men's Baseball World Ranking

Japan. Mexico and USA top the WBSC/KONAMI Men's Baseball World Ranking, while Kingdom of the Netherlands ranks seventh and Team Italy ranks 14th

The WBSC Konami Men’s Baseball Ranking remained unchanged for the first twenty-six positions, a carbon copy of the rankings released last month following the conclusion of the European Baseball Championship, the Asian Games and the Pan American Games.

Japan (5797 points). Mexico (4764) and USA (4492) are the top three baseball nations.  Slightly further behind are South Korea (4353) and Chinese Taipei (4170). Venezuela (3975), Kingdom of the Netherlands (3288), Cuba (3121), Dominican Republic (2667), Panama (2534), Australia (2367) and Puerto Rico (2355) to round out the top 12 countries for the 2024 Premier12.

Team Italy (1939) remains in fourteenth place behind Colombia (13th, 2105) and ahead of the Czech Republic (15th, 1900). Other  European countries include Germany (17th, 1223), Great Britain (18th, 1142), Israel (19th, 1086), France (21st, 792), Spain (22nd, 775), Belgium (25th, 365), Croatia (26th, 317), Austria (29th, 295), Sweden (30th, 271), Greece (36th, 167), Switzerland (39th, 139), Hungary (40th, 124), Slovakia (43rd, 106), Lithuania (47th, 80) and Ireland (55th, 35).

Among those that rose the most included: Curacao (tie for 26th, up two positions), the Philippines (28th, up four positions), Hong Kong (32nd, up five positions), Pakistan (38th, up 11 positions),  Palestine (46th, up nine positions) and Costa Rica (54th, up five positions)
