Federazione Italiana Baseball Softball (FIBS) President Andrea Marcon said, "This is an important moment for the approaching path of the tournament, but at the organizational level we have been working for several months. It will be the first European Baseball Championship in the new millennium organized in Italy and for this I want to thank all those who are giving us a hand, including the Piemonte Region as well as the municipalities of Torino, Avigliana and Settimo Torinese. The legacy will be an important restart in such a complicated period and for Piemonte it will be a great opportunity to showcase its local products and its excellence. We also thank Mèttola, official partner of #EuroBaseball2021, for having believed in our project from the start.”

FIBS President Andrea Marcon also thanked Didier Seminet (Confederation of European Baseball President), Michael Schmidt (World Baseball Softball Confederation Executive Director), Andrea Tronzano (Piemonte Region Budget Councilor), Andrea Archinà (Mayor of Avigliana), Daniele Volpatto (Settimo Torinese Councilor for Sport), Gianfranco Porqueddu (CONI Piemonte President) and Marco Chessa (Torino Municipality Councilor). Forza #Italia!
