22 Azzurri baseball prospects have been invited to participate in an exhibition game against Jolly Roger Grosseto on July 13, 2021
Team Italy manager and National Baseball Hall of Famer Mike Piazza has selected 22 prospective Senior players for an exhibition game hosted by Jolly Roger Grosseto at Jannella field on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 8 pm. An eclectic mix of veteran and new players including Tommaso Giarola and Gabriele Angioi will be assembled on the diamond to demonstrate their ability on the Senior level.
Azzurri manager Mike Piazza will be assisted by coaches Vince Horsman,Gianmarco Faraone, David Sheldon, and Dan Bonanno. In addition, FIBS player representative Alessandro Maestri, athletic trainer Fabrizio Goracci, physiotherapist Massimo Baldi and delegation manager Alessandro Cappuccini will lend their support in Grosseto.
