IBL transactions: Bologna adds pitcher to rotation

BOLOGNA – Unipol Bologna announced the signing of right-handed flame thrower, Felix Romero, who has past experience in the Italian Baseball League and climbed the ladder of minor league baseball all the way up to triple-A ball.

Romero, a 31 year-old native of San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic, could be used as a starter or work out of the bullpen, but Unipol hasn’t commented on how they plan to use Romero.
