Becky Blatnick pitched for the University of Arizona from 1998 to 2001. She led the Arizona Wildcats to a national title during her senior year and notched a total of 103 wins and 916 strikeouts at U of A. Becky Blatnick has been a longtime associate of her former coach, National Softball Hall of Famer and Team Italy special advisor Mike Candrea. Over the years, she has worked under him at his Southwest Softball Camp.
Becky Blatnick and Team Italy pitching coach Nancy Evans held three clinics in association with the Team Italy coaching staff from December 5-12, 2021 in Emilia-Romagna, Lombardia and Veneto. Since that time, both coaches have been working with the Team Italy U22 and Elite national teams. Back by popular demand, Becky Blatnick returns for three more softball pitching clinics this summer.
Pitchers aged 14-20 must be accompanied by their own catchers. Coaches are welcome to attend as observers. Each clinic will follow the same format below:
10:30 am Meeting and Document Exchange
11 am to 1 pm Morning Session
1 pm to 3 pm Lunch Break for all participants who must provide their own meals
3 pm to 6 pm Afternoon Session

To participate, all pitchers and catchers must:
1. Pre-register 24 hours in advance of desired date by filling in the request to participate / release form which must be sent in advance via email to teamitaly@fibs.it specifying which of the three clinics players intend to participate in.
2. Show up on site for registration by delivering:
- request to participate / release form completed and signed
- Photocopy of a valid medical certificate for competitive sports fitness
