Team Italy women's softball team gathers in Gradisca d’Isonzo prior to Euros in Friuli Venezia Giulia
Prior to the official roster being announced for the European Championship, the Team Italy women's softball team begins a week-long training camp in Gradisca d’Isonzo on June 20, 2021.
Team Italy manager Federico Pizzolini has selected 19 Azzurre women softball players for a week-long training camp in Gradisca d’Isonzo, where the roster will be trimmed down to 17 athletes prior to the start of the European Championship on June 27, 2021. Host Team Italy will defend the Women’s European Softball Championship title throne on the fields of Castions di Strada, Ronchi dei Legionari, Cervignano del Friuli, Porpetto and Castions delle Mura from June 27-July 3, 2021.
It is anticipated that Federazione Italiana Baseball Softball (FIBS) President Andrea Marcon will reveal the list of the selected players on the Euros roster after the final cut is made on June 26, 2021.
