Baseball festival in Foggia attracts 350 kids

FOGGIA – At the community fairgrounds in Foggia, a baseball celebration took place and attracted over 350 local kids to “come out to ballpark.”

The festival was part of a larger school penetration project that aims at exposing the game of baseball to children in the country that is saturated in rich soccer culture.

Following such festivals, many new prospects sign up for baseball teams, leaving coaches scrambling for additional help to receive the massive influx of new players.
