Rimini will be heading down to Grosseto today for a Friday, Day-Night doubleheader with Mastiff Toshiba Enegan. Game two will be televised live on RaiSport 2 with a start time of 20:55, with the Italian National Team’s manager, Marco Mazzieri, as the guest speaker for this televised event. In this series Rimini’s manager, Chris Catanoso, will be giving his normal Italian starter, Roberto Corradini, a week off as he will be substituted by Tommaso Cherubini in game two. In game one it will be Bazardo. On Grosseto’s side, it will be Marquez and Ularetti with the task of taking on the most potent offense in the Italian Baseball League.

T&A San Marino will take on a struggling Godo club on Friday under the lights in San Marino before the series shifts to Godo on Saturday. Doriano Bindi will be sending Magrane to the hill in game one, and Da Silva in game two. The objective this weekend is undoubtedly the sweep with the hopes of putting some distance between them and a Parma club that will face off against the number two in the division. On Godo’s side of the filed, Fuzzi has many questions about his lineup that he wont be able to answer until game time.

The evening matchup between Unipol Bologna and Parma just may steal all of the attention away from the other two series on Friday. Both teams have their sights set on keeping pace with those ahead of them in the standings, as Bologna is currently a game back of that top spot, and Parma a half game back of T&A San Marino. Bologna’s manager, Nanni, may be missing two big names this weekend with both Infante and Sabbatani in question. If these two key pieces are unable to go, in their place it will be Vaglio at short with Fuzzi on the two bag, and Bischeri behind the plate. On the bump Nanni has decided to mix up his rotation by sending out Rivero and Richetti to take on Orlando Munoz’s young, but dangerous offense. For Parma, it will be José Sanchez starting on the visiting mound this evening in Bologna, with the right-hander looking to build upon the success he had against San Marino a week ago. In question for Parma is the teams leading hitter, Marval. The switch hitter will be a game time decision.
