The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), the newly assembled group made up of the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) and the International Softball Federation (ISF), has set the dates for their first congress. The congress is expected to take place from the 7th to the 9th of March 2014, however it is still up to the co presidents, Riccardo Fraccari and Don Porter, as to where exactly the event will take place.
In just under two weeks the WBSC will present their final proposal to the IOC (International Olympic Committee) for the reinstatement of both Baseball and Softball into the 2020 Olympics.
