The Italian national team coached by Marina Centrone came out victorious in their afternoon matchup with ‘Sperimentale’ on Saturday in Bollate. The 9-0 win secured a spot in today’s finals where they will take on the Germans with a game time 14.00. Both Ilaria Cacciameni and Fabiana Fabrizi threw well for Italy, with a combined shut out. Team Italy fell in their second game of the day when they suffered a 2-1 loss to Caronno. Centrone’s offensive just couldn’t put anything together in the game, but the team is still alive in the tournament and will look to bring home the trophy today.
The 3rd place game takes place at 11.00 between ‘Sperimentale’ and Caronno, while the finals between Italy and Germany will be played out at 14.00.
