After the hosting a Steel Sports Family Day in Florence on April 26, 2024, Mike Piazza returns for second youth baseball and softball camp in association with Steel Sports, local coaches and the Potenza Picena Panthers organization at the ‘A. Carestia’ Field, Strada Provinciale S.Girio, 49, in Potenza Picena on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
Steel Sports, Team Partner of the National Teams, aims to spread among coaches, players and their families, the philosophy of the approach to the game and its teaching of the great Tommy Lasorda: ‘Kids First’, the kids first of all, and all three components are fundamental for the growth of the boys and girls in a positive and stimulating environment.
Parents are therefore invited to attend, participate and
wear comfortable clothing, preparing for a fun day to spend with their kids and
their coaches on the field.
The program is specifically designed for the baseball/softball U12 to U18 categories and is follows:
10:00 am Registration
11:00 am Warm-up
11:30 am Field activity divided into six stations
1:00 pm Lunch break
2:00 pm Steel Sports meets the families, the kids meet Mike
Piazza. Questions, answers, autographs
3:00 pm Muscle toning
3:30 pm Games with the involvement of parents
5:00 pm Conclusion
Participation, completely free, is reserved for boys and girls born in 2009 or later, in good standing with the 2024 membership, for whom the parents (or those exercising parental authority) have duly completed, signed electronically and sent, no later than Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 1 pm, the form available at the link below, accompanied by a valid medical certificate of competitive fitness.
Technicians regularly registered for 2024 who wish to be
present are also welcome.
ACTIVITY PARTICIPATION REQUEST
With reference to the lunch, those who wish to take advantage of the catering service provided by the Panthers of Potenza Picena at the field, at a cost of 8 euros, will be available:
- a hot first course
- a cold second course
- bread
- water
- a fruit
The lunch must be reserved in advance by writing to presidenza@panterebaseball.com no later than Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 1 pm.
