Jessica and Alana Mendoza to special guest at CON-X 2023 in Rimini, Italy

The Mendoza sisters, authors of the critically-acclaimed book "There's No Base Like Home", will special guest at CON-X 2023 from January 27-29, 2023 at Palacongressi di Rimini in Italy

Jessica Mendoza, Olympic softball champion and the first woman to serve as an MLB TV color commentator, will join her sister, Alana Mendoza, a former softball player at Oregon State University and current high school English teacher in Oregon, at CON-X 2023 in Rimini, Italy.

Jessica Mendoza played softball at Stanford (1999-2002) and later moved on to become a National Pro Fastpitch star. She was a key part of the US national team that won Olympic gold in Athens 2004 and silver in Beijing. After her softball career, Mendoza became an analyst for ESPN MLB games and Women's College World Series softball games. She was the first female commentator for ESPN MLB games as well as the first woman to be work postseason and World Series games. Mendoza joined the NBC team to cover the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021. Last year in addition to her ESPN responsibilities, she worked the Los Angeles Dodgers games for Spectrum SportsNet.

Jessica will be joined by her sister Alana Mendoza, co-author of their book There's No Base Like Home, at CON-X 2023 in Rimini, Italy from January 27-29, 2023. Forza #Italia!
