IBL2/A league regular season has come to an end, but many games still to be made up

In division A, the series between Codogno and Novara 2000/ Piemonte finished in a tie

In division A, the series between Codogno and Novara 2000/ Piemonte finished in a tie. Game one went to Codogno 7 to 6 while game two was taken by Novara, 3-1. Left for Novara, a long list of games to be made up, 9 in all. In Piacenza the home team took two from their IBL2 rival Collecchio on Sunday, both games were close but in the end both taken by one run in favor of Piacenza, 3-2, 4-3. Both Bollate and Senago Milano United kept pace for the top spot in the division. Currently Bollate holds a one game lead over Senago, meaning the winner of the division will be decided next week as both teams will conclude their 2013 regular season with game number 27 and 28.

In division B, Sunday brought 2 sweeps and 2 splits as the day and regular season came to a conclusion. Beginning with the series between Padova and Rimini, two clubs that are assured to be in the 2013 postseason (Padova in series A, and Rimini Rivera in the IBL2 playoffs). The series was split with game one going to Padova 7-0 and game two to Rimini Riviera 7-4. It was only the second Padova has fallen this year, but with only 3 games to be made up on their schedule they are already assured that top spot in the division. In Sala Baganza two wins by the home team over Imola assures them a spot in the series A playoffs. Finishing off the division, Rovigo took two from Castenao, and the Bologna Athletics and Modena split their matchup.

The only series in division C that took place over the weekend was that between the first place Urbe Roma and last place Nettuno. Game one of the series went in favor of Urbe Roma by the final score of 15-1 (7 inning shortened game). Game two was also taken by Roma, 5-2. The series between Pulirapida Pesaro Fano and Recotech Padule Baseball was rained out, adding to the long lists of games to be made up.
