IBAF 18U: Italy opener versus Panama gets rained out

SEOUL, Korea – The 18-years and Under Italian National Baseball Team had its opener in the twelve-team IBAF 18U Baseball World Championship postponed due to heavy rainfall in South Korea’s capital city

SEOUL, Korea – The 18-years and Under Italian National Baseball Team had its opener in the twelve-team IBAF 18U Baseball World Championship postponed due to heavy rainfall in South Korea’s capital city. 

The Italy vs. Chinese Taipei match-up was slated to be one of two games set to kick off the championship. 

All day 1 action will be transferred to what should have been a rest day on September 4th. 

The hosts had been scheduled to take on Venezuela.
