At the Senior Baseball Little League World Series the boys out of Emilia Romagna picked up their first win of the tournament with an 8-4 win over Clear Ridge, Illinois

At the Senior Baseball Little League World Series the boys out of Emilia Romagna picked up their first win of the tournament with an 8-4 win over Clear Ridge, Illinois. The win keeps the Italian’s out of the last overall spot in the tournament. Moving on to compete for the 2013 title will be Pennsylvania, Hawaii, Georgia, and Panama.

The Little League World Series is about to get started in Pennsylvania, with 16 different clubs from around the World all ready to compete for the title. Be sure to tune into all the action on the official website of the Little League World Series.

At the Junior Softball Little League World Series in Kirkland, Washington the girls out of Emilia Romagna fell to the host team, Kirkland, 10-0 on Thursday, ending their dream of a championship run at this year’s tournament. With the loss the Italians will now play for the 5th through 8th spots in the tournament. They will take the field first against Mexico on Friday, and with a win they will move on and play for 5th in the tournament.
