CON6 2021 Italian Baseball and Softball Coaches Convention reaches a worldwide audience in record numbers

The first European and online edition of the may have closed its virtual doors, but most of the content will remain available on the to the delight of viewers worldwide. , organizers of CON6 2021, saw a tremendous uptick of online activity. The was launched two weeks prior to the start of the convention on March 16, 2021 and attracted 61,000 online visits.

CON6 2021 was truly an international event with both Italian and English language platforms available through . In fact, at the time of publication, there were about 15,000 visits to the Italian site and 4,000 visits to the English site. The was buzzing with CON6 2021 content which garnered over 20,000 views, the result of nearly 234,000 impressions, for a total of 2,820 hours.

In regards to the geographical origin of the online participants, Italy accounted for 85% of the virtual audience with a strong showing of followers from the Netherlands, Germany and the United States. However, a growing number of viewers from Portugal, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Philippines, Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Austria, Australia, Japan, Argentina, Hong Kong, Canada, and Taiwan were also participating.

Based on the amount of interest shown internationally, the immense interaction with the speakers, and the sheer volume of numbers increasing over time, FIBS hopes that the CON6 2021 online content will stand the test of time. It will undoubtedly become an invaluable resource which can strengthen baseball and softball programs worldwide by integrating the modern day training and development programs shared during the convention.

FIBS would like to thank all the participants, many of whom have already expressed their appreciation for CON6 2021, the speakers, who offered their vast amount of knowledge and wisdom, and all those who worked behind the scenes (and cameras) to produce, record, and overdub 90 hours of content.

In light of the current pandemic, it is hard to predict as to what format CON6 will take on next year, but we are cautiously optimistic that the day will come soon when we meet again in person and exchange greetings with a warm handshake. Forza #Italia!
