The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has announced the calendar of the three groups that will make up the first phase of the U18 Women's Softball World Cup under the new double-round format
Team Italy competes in U18 Softball World Cup Group B in Pingtan, China and makes it debut against the host nation on August 14, 2024 at 7 pm (local time). The Italians face favorite Japan on the following day before battling Peru on August 16, 2024. The Azzurre close out the international tourney with a doubleheader against the Netherlands and Puerto Rico on the last day of the opening round.

U18 Softball World Cup Group B Schedule/Results
The top two teams will play in the Group B Championship on August 18, 2024 and the winner will qualify for the U18 Softball World Cup Finals, which will take place in Dallas, Texas next year. The loser will then compete against the winner of the game between third and fourth finishers for the second team qualifying for U18 Softball World Cup Finals.
U18 Softball World Cup Group A in Sao Paulo, Brazil takes places in Sao Paulo, Brazil from July 23-27, 2024 and includes host Brazil, Colombia, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, New Zealand and Chinese Taipei.
Team USA hosts U18 Softball World Cup Group C in Dallas, Texas takes place in Dallas, Texas from August 29-September 2, 2024 with opponents Australia, Canada, Ireland, Mexico and the Philippines.
