In preparation for the upcoming Olympics in Tokyo, the Team Italy women's softball squad comes together for three days at the Giulio Onesti Olympic Training Center in Rome, where the athletes will undergo a series of physical tests administered by the Comitato Olimpico Nazionale Italiano (CONI) sports science department. Then the Azzurre softball team and staff will travel to Pescara, where the 22 players selected by Team Italy manager Enrico Obletter will train from January 24-30, 2021.

Team Italy manager Enrico Obletter will be assisted by coaches Federico Pizzolini, Giovanna Palermi, and Julio La Rosa Zequeira. Reinforcement will be provided by physiotherapists Elio Paolini and Ulisse Hernandez as well as team physican Gaetano Schiavottiello and delegation manager Claudia Venturini. Forza #Italia!
