Fermana and the Titano Hornets divvied up Saturday’s winnings, splitting their contests in Fermana.  Fermana took a bite out of the Hornets with a 2-1 nail biter, but the Hornets stung back to fly by Fermana 8-6, before buzzing back to the hive in the Republic of San Marino.

In the battle in Bologna, crosstown rivals Forli and Bologna exchanged blows and ended up the night with one win and one loss apiece.  Bologna threatened to take out the brooms, but a late charge from Forli secured a 5-4 extra-inning win to stave off the sweep from the Blue Girls, who are holding their own as freshman in the ISL.
